§ 1 Information on the collection of personal data
In the following we inform about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data are all data that are personally identifiable to you, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior.

When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, if applicable your name and your telephone number) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data arising in this context after the storage is no longer necessary, or limit the processing if statutory retention obligations exist.
If we make use of contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below. We also specify the defined criteria for the storage period.

§ 3 Collection of personal data when you visit our website
When using the website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to guarantee stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DS-GVO):

In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk in the browser you use and through which certain information flows to the place that sets the cookie (here by us). Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet more user-friendly and effective overall.

b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. This includes in particular the session cookies. On our website we use a contact form. If you send us inquiries, the information from the contact form, including the contact details you provided, will be stored in order to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent.
The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The information you provide in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or delete the purpose for data storage (for example, after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – especially retention periods – remain unaffected.
§ 5 Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. “(“Google”). § 5 Use of Google Tag Manager
On this website we use the Google Tag Manager. It allows website tags to be managed through an interface. Google Tag Manager only implements tags, but does not set cookies and does not collect any personal information. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags that may collect personal information. However, Google Tag Manager does not access this information. Any cookies or tracking disabled at domain or cookie level will remain disabled even when implemented with Google Tag Manager.
§ 6 Use of Google Remarketing
We use the remarketing function of Google Ads service. It allows us to advertise on third party websites (in Google search, on YouTube or on other websites) to previous visitors of our website and to present ads based to users of our website based on their interests.
Therefore, your interaction on our website is analyzed, for example in which offers you were interested in or which of our sites you visited. Google stores cookies in the browsers of users, which are used the visits.

§ 7 Use of social media plug-ins
We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Xing, LinkedIn, Instagram. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box above its initial letter or the logo. We offer you the possibility to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it, the plug-in provider receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. In addition, the data specified in § 3 of this declaration will be transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Xing, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection, according to the respective provider in Germany. By activating the plug-in, personal data is transferred from you to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects data mainly via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies before clicking on the grayed-out box using your browser’s security settings.
We have no influence on the data collected and data processing processes, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.
The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (also for not logged in users) for the representation of demand-fair advertisement and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. Through the plug-ins we offer you the possibility to interact with social networks and other users, so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. If you click the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider also stores this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, especially before activating the button, as this way you can avoid being assigned to your profile with the plug-in provider.

§ 8 Conversion Tracking Linkedin
If you give us Consent for doing so, we use conversion tracking technology on our website and the retargeting feature of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Irland (“LinkedIn”). LinkedIn is an affiliate of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and data processing in this context is eventually carried out in the USA.
This technology allows visitors to this site to see personalized ads on the LinkedIn social network. It also provides the ability to generate anonymous reports on ad performance and website interaction information. We use Hotjar, developed by Hotjar Limited, Level 2, St Julian’s Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julian’s STJ 1000, Malta. It is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and do not like, etc.). This enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback.

§ 10 Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you and provide the so-called “double opt-in” to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data (for example your first name) is only collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for the delivery of the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The granted consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the already completed data processing operations remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data deposited with us for the purpose of obtaining the newsletter will be saved by us from the newsletter until your cancellation and will be deleted after cancellation of the newsletter. Data that has been stored for other purposes with us (such as e-mail addresses for your user account) remain unaffected.
§ 11 Use of ActiveCampaign
Our e-mail communication is handled via “ActiveCampaign”, 1 N Dearborn, 5th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601, USA. Your e-mail address and other data described in this notice will be stored on ActiveCampaign’s servers in the USA.
ActiveCampaign uses this information to send and evaluate e-mails on our behalf. Furthermore, according to its own information, ActiveCampaign can use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes in order to determine from which countries the recipients come.
ActiveCampaign does not use the data of our mail recipients in order to write to them or pass them on to third parties. ActiveCampaign is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement “Privacy Shield” and thus undertakes to comply with EU data protection regulations. In addition, we have concluded a data processing agreement with ActiveCampaign.
